The inspiration for DK Custom Works comes from our love for the Deutsch Kurzhaar, also known as the German Shorthaired Pointer. This incredible German breed of continental pointing dog, with its distinctive Braque heritage, originated in nineteenth-century Germany. Their intelligence, loyalty, athleticism, and unmistakable spirit have inspired us in so many ways.
That love for this remarkable breed has grown into something even more special for us—creating handmade products with heart and purpose. What started with a passion for the Deutsch Kurzhaar has become a creative journey we get to share together.
From woodworking and leather craftsmanship to unique home décor and other one-of-a-kind creations, we love bringing ideas to life and creating pieces that celebrate the things we love.
